Description: Administer the sound recording and instructional media collections. Reporting to the Head of Public Services, the MMS Librarian provides oversight of daily unit operations, including circulation and reserves; supervision of paraprofessional and student staff; reference and instruction for music and media resources; and acquisition and organization of unit materials and equipment. The new Music and Media Services Librarian will be participating in planning a new music and media facility as part of the Library's current building project. Description: Share responsibility for summer reference service, research, and scheduled library instruction with the Conservatory Public Services Librarian and one student Reference Assistant. This position is funded by the Summer Programs Office of the Conservatory of Music specifically to provide reference and research assistance in the Conservatory of Music Library for participants in Oberlin's summer music programs.
